The Role of Accountant

HAAN Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Finance team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role is critical for managing day-to-day accounting activities within the logistics and shipping industry, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
• Handling petty cash and performing bank reconciliations.
• Conducting VAT reconciliation and filing in compliance with Saudi requirements.
• Managing fixed assets and supporting month-end closing procedures.
• Preparing financial reports and Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
• Supporting ERP implementation and enhancement, including the development and maintenance of the Chart of Accounts (COA) and accounting processes tailored for a logistics business.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Saudi VAT requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to meet strict monthly closing deadlines.
