We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance and Accounting team, contributing to accurate financial record-keeping, compliance, and efficient financial operations.

The Role of Accountant

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to support daily accounting and financial activities. This full-time position, based in Makkah (Jeddah or Makkah), involves ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, maintaining proper financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations in Saudi Arabia. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, review, and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Review supporting documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Review invoices, expenses, and payment documents, ensuring proper accounting classification.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare periodic accounting and financial reports as required by management.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
• Prepare required documents and supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support compliance with applicable accounting, VAT, Zakat, and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
