About the Analyst/Senior Analyst Pricing Marketing Role

Agoda is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst for its Pricing Marketing team. This full-time position is based within a global technology company focused on making travel accessible worldwide. The role involves leveraging data and technology to drive marketing initiatives and enhance customer lifetime value.

Team and Context

The Performance Marketing Team at Agoda is a leader in online marketing, characterized by its data-driven approach. The team focuses on developing scalable marketing programs across various channels to improve customer lifetime value. It comprises analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists, with leadership possessing deep expertise in data science, product, and strategy. The team fosters a strong learning environment, encouraging collaboration with international experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments with text ads, bidding strategies, and campaign structures across search engines such as Google, Bing, Baidu, and Naver.
  • Adapt to new product features and implement successful test outcomes.
  • Test, analyze, and optimize campaigns on display advertising platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Analyze large datasets generated from experiments to develop optimization models.
  • Build dashboards for account managers to support data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a top university in a quantitative field (*, computer science, mathematics, engineering, science).
  • Fluency in English communication.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business operations for a fast-growing global tech company.
  • Exposure to data analysis packages or databases such as SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, or SQL.
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Intellectual curiosity.

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Experience in digital marketing.
  • Academic research experience.
