The Opportunity: Architect Engineer (Saudi National)

Parsons is seeking an Architect Engineer to join its team in Makkah. This is a full-time position for a Saudi National. The role involves performing moderately difficult architectural or interior design assignments under the general direction of a licensed Architect, utilizing a working knowledge of design standards, practices, and techniques. The incumbent will compile data, specifications, and sketches, formalizing them into working drawings and models, and will demonstrate increasing proficiency in architectural and interior design standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce CAD/BIM drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards for specific architectural or interior design tasks based on general design information, adhering to established standards, procedures, and client requirements.
• Utilize technical manuals to ensure compliance with required codes and standards.
• Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations necessary for the preparation of drawings and design layouts.
• Produce drawings and specifications based on red-lined revisions provided by others.
• Research and develop design and product solutions, presenting them for consideration.
• Inspect architectural or interior design features on project sites and accurately record conditions.
• Interface with other project team members to establish goals and meet shared deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in architectural or interior design.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques.
• Proficiency in producing CAD/BIM drawings and construction documents.
• Ability to compile data, specifications, and sketches into formal working drawings and models.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
