Esnad Contracting is a reputable company specializing in roads contracting projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated Batch Plant QC Inspector to join our team for an upcoming project in the Makkah region, specifically covering sites in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The Batch Plant QC Inspector Role

This full-time position is critical for ensuring the highest standards of quality control within our concrete batch plant operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in verifying material compliance, monitoring production processes, and conducting essential testing to meet project specifications and industry regulations, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, including cement, aggregates, water, admixtures, and supplementary cementitious materials, to ensure full compliance with approved specifications.
• Monitor concrete batching operations, verifying approved mix designs, accurate weighing, proper batching sequence, water-cement ratio, and admixture dosage.
• Perform and witness fresh concrete tests, such as slump, temperature, air content, unit weight, and concrete sampling, in strict accordance with ASTM and ACI standards.
• Prepare, identify, cure, and coordinate concrete cube/cylinder testing to determine compressive strength.
• Review concrete batch tickets prior to dispatch to confirm mix design, concrete grade, quantity, batching time, truck details, and delivery requirements.
• Verify the calibration and operational condition of batching plant equipment, testing devices, and mixer trucks.
• Maintain comprehensive QC records, inspection reports, test results, and calibration records, and promptly report any quality-related non-conformances.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in Concrete Batch Plant Quality Control.
• Possession of a valid ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification is mandatory for this role.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and established concrete quality control procedures.
• Previous approval with major entities such as Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, or the Royal Commission is highly valued.
• Demonstrated strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia, with primary project locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a dynamic project environment focused on roads contracting, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
