BMS Operator

About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a BMS Operator to join our team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on the supervision and control of building management systems to ensure optimal operation of building services.

Role Purpose

The BMS Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing the building management system (BMS) and monitoring all plant activities related to the headquarters building services. This role ensures the efficient functioning of critical building infrastructure and contributes to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the maintenance supervisor with planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for implementation and follow-up.
• Analyze plant behavior in relation to set points and configure various control parameters.
• Conduct daily auditing of plant performance using BMS facilities such as data logging, plant review, and alarm manager status.
• Analyze reasons for plant failures, provide specific diagnostics and problem analysis, and recommend necessary remedial actions for supervisor approval.
• Utilize historical logged data from various plants to review the system and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve services.
• Program the BMS and PPM system, along with other plants (*, standby power generator, diesel-driven fire fighting pump, fire alarm system), for automatic periodic testing.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in BMS mechanical engineering is required.
• 2-5 years of previous experience in a similar BMS Operator role.
• Proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of relevant equipment.
