Cashier Food & Beverage Svcs

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Cashier-Food & Beverage Svcs to join their team in Makkah. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience, focusing on processing payments and maintaining cash handling procedures within the food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.
• Adhere to property control audit standards and cash handling procedures, including blind drops.
• Obtain and ensure accuracy of assigned bank, acquire necessary change, and keep the bank secure.
• Count the bank at the end of each shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure receipts.
• Transport the bank to and from the assigned workstation.
• Set up and organize the cashier workstation with supplies, forms, and resource materials, maintaining cleanliness.
• Complete opening duties, including setting up supplies and tools, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and express appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Utilize computers and/or point-of-sale systems for work-related information.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None.
