Construction Manager Civil & Structural Works

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager – Civil & Structural Works for a full-time position in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with projects spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This role is central to managing all structural, civil, and architectural construction activities for terminal buildings and supporting facilities.

Role Overview

The Construction Manager will ensure the high-quality execution of structural works, including foundation slabs, concrete and steel structures, building envelope interfaces, structural modifications, temporary works, demolition, enabling works, civil elements, and architectural finishing works. The position requires maintaining strict alignment with safety, schedule, and operational requirements throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural works.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee the implementation of structural systems, façade works, roofing systems, and interior fit-out.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
• Monitor progress against established schedules and implement corrective actions as required.
• Lead inspections, snagging activities, and quality assurance reviews.
• Coordinate with MEP, BHS, ICT, and airport systems teams to ensure proper interface alignment.
• Support modular construction methodologies and off-site fabrication strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, specifically within civil and structural works.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably involving terminal buildings or similar complex facilities.
• Strong understanding of structural systems, building envelopes, and architectural finishing works.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, and operational requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with project responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role involves working within a dynamic project environment, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
