Role Overview: Consumer Activation Specialist HoReCa

At JTI, operating within a highly regulated environment, brand building and consumer engagement require creative yet fully compliant approaches. We are seeking a Consumer Activation Specialist HoReCa to join our team on a contract basis in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is vital in developing impactful activation strategies for the HoReCa channel, which serves as a key platform for responsible adult consumer and trade engagement, particularly due to strict advertising and promotion restrictions in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The specialist will drive brand equity, consumer acquisition, and strong trade partnerships while navigating the local regulatory and cultural landscape. This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated Consumer and HoReCa channel activation strategies.
• Drive adult consumer engagement, brand awareness, and repeat purchases while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage one-to-one activations at points of sale and consumer-facing events.
• Manage day-to-day cooperation with agencies, event vendors, and third-party partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key HoReCa accounts.
• Ensure full control and reporting of consumer activations at points of sale.
• Partner with Brand and Trade Engagement managers to ensure consistent brand and trade program execution across channels.
• Monitor activation performance, report insights and results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support budget management and cost-effective execution of activation plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in consumer and trade activation, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Solid knowledge of the HoReCa channel.
• Strong understanding of marketing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in agency and vendor management.

• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
