Electrical Engineer Fresh Graduate (Western Region)

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking an Electrical Engineer Fresh Graduate to join their team in Makkah, with work locations including Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the planning, organization, and control of electrical activities within projects to ensure successful completion within established guidelines, schedules, budgets, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project electrical documents, including methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction schedules.
• Prepare and review technical submittals such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, and end-user requirements, as well as local and international standards.
• Oversee and inspect daily site installation work, witness tests, identify non-compliance with construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and other team members to verify, document, and report quality issues of work performed by sub-contractors, and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure all construction activities proceed efficiently on-site and review progress.
• Conduct technical meetings and maintain constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.

Quality Assurance

• Maintain the quality standards of all electrical activities in accordance with the project quality plan.
• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.

Team Leadership and Development

• Train subordinates and build a cohesive team to ensure effective work execution.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates across all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments to subordinates and ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation.

Operational Accountability

• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.
