Role Overview and Contribution

The Electrician plays a crucial role in supporting the Engineering team by maintaining the hotel's electrical infrastructure. This position is responsible for upholding high standards of electrical safety and operational efficiency across all guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and other hotel amenities. The successful candidate will contribute to a seamless guest experience by ensuring reliable electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including issues with lighting systems, power outlets, switches, and control panels.
• Inspect electrical installations regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance with standards.
• Respond promptly to electrical maintenance requests originating from different hotel departments.
• Provide support to the Engineering team during scheduled maintenance, renovation projects, and new installations.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and accurately report any identified potential hazards or defects.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres strictly to hotel safety standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain precise records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and the condition of equipment.
• Adhere to all hotel Health & Safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Coordinate effectively with other members of the Engineering team to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Experience Requirements
