About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Family Medicine Registrar to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Family Medicine department. The Registrar will be responsible for patient examinations, medical histories, medication prescriptions, and the ordering, performing, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and document findings accurately.
  • Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication usage.
  • Provide patient counseling on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to individual cases.
  • Order and review results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
  • Fulfill all obligations related to patient records.
  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulation.
  • Comply with the mission, vision goals, and practice guidelines in NCC.
  • Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Complete fire safety requirements and comply with clinical & departmental structure standards, including attendance.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and observe measures to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality Standards and Regulations are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Integrate population factors of heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the Section, Department, or Clinical as assigned by the chairman.

Specialty Tasks

  • Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
  • Undertake additional tasks as determined by specialty and clinical privileges.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in family medicine. The role requires an evidence-based approach to practice and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Working hours are 8 net hours per day, according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
