Unity Holding Company is seeking a dedicated Food Safety & Quality Supervisor to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality across all operational processes.

Overview of the Position

The Food Safety & Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all food products are prepared, stored, and served in strict compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and quality requirements. This position involves active monitoring of daily operations, conducting thorough inspections, implementing robust food safety programs, and ensuring continuous adherence to HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor daily food production and operational processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections of kitchens, storage areas, equipment, and food preparation processes.
• Ensure compliance with local municipality, health authority, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform internal food safety and quality audits and prepare corrective action reports.
• Monitor food receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, holding, and serving temperatures.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation practices are followed by all staff.
• Investigate customer complaints related to food quality and food safety and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct food safety training and awareness sessions for employees.
• Verify that all staff follow personal hygiene and food handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and corrective actions.
• Monitor product quality, shelf life, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in food safety and quality assurance, demonstrated through both academic achievement and practical experience. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Hospitality, or a related field.
• HACCP Certification (required).
• Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in food safety and quality supervision.

Collaboration and Operational Impact

This role requires close collaboration with various internal departments to foster a culture of food safety excellence. The Supervisor will work closely with Operations, Kitchen, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to continuously improve food safety performance and ensure integrated quality control throughout the supply chain and production processes.
