About EcoSmart Group and the Role

EcoSmart Group is a Saudi-based company specializing in commercial representation and architectural solutions. The company connects local manufacturing partners with the architecture, design, and construction market, developing and representing innovative architectural finishing solutions. EcoSmart Group is building a technology-enabled commercial platform for architectural materials, from product selection to project delivery. We are seeking a Head of Sales and Business Development to join our team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, in a full-time capacity.

Role Purpose and Context

As EcoSmart Group enters its commercial growth phase, the Head of Sales and Business Development will play a key role in establishing the company’s commercial presence across Saudi Arabia. This is a hands-on leadership position, working directly with EcoSmart’s management to develop the market, cultivate strategic client relationships, identify project and specification opportunities, and progressively build and lead the company’s sales and business development function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead EcoSmart’s sales and business development activities.
• Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
• Identify and develop new projects, accounts, and specification opportunities.
• Build and manage a structured B2B sales pipeline.
• Drive opportunities from prospecting through presentation, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
• Contribute to commercial strategy, market positioning, and growth plans.
• Provide market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.
• Help build and lead the future sales team as the business expands.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Over 10 years of experience in B2B sales and business development.
• A strong understanding of the Saudi construction and architectural market.
• Experience in building materials, architectural finishes, fit-out, interiors, or related sectors is highly valued.
• Existing relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, or developers are a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• An entrepreneurial, hands-on, and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to develop business independently and progressively build and lead a commercial team.
