Health Safety & Environment Specialist

About the Role

Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) is seeking a Health Safety & Environment Specialist to join their team in Makkah, covering Jeddah and Makkah cities. This full-time position involves overseeing and supervising various projects and programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for SANS employees.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards across all Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Construction projects and programs. The specialist will monitor for unsafe conditions and acts to maintain a secure environment, adhering to established KPIs, agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Construction projects and programs.
• Facilitate compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
• Monitor unsafe conditions and unsafe acts within the workplace.
• Monitor other activities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for SANS employees.
• Ensure adherence to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Operate within agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah cities. The role involves working within a structured environment governed by specific KPIs, budgets, and company policies.
