Health Safety & Environment Specialist

About the Role

SANS is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring a safe and healthy working environment across various projects.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and supervise all Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Construction projects and programs. The specialist will facilitate compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and actively monitor for unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and other activities to maintain a secure environment for SANS employees. This will be achieved within established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Construction projects and programs.
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards across all operations.
• Monitor and identify unsafe conditions and acts within the workplace.
• Implement measures to mitigate risks and promote a healthy working environment.
• Work within defined KPIs, budgets, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety & Environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of OHS standards and regulations.
