Health Safety Environment Coordinator

About the Role

EMAR Saudi for Energy Works is seeking a Health Safety Environment Coordinator to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves both administrative HSE duties and regular field coordination with site visits.

Role Overview

The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for managing safety documentation, coordinating training and equipment, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environment standards across project sites. The role combines office-based record keeping with essential on-site presence to support operational HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and coordinate HSE training requests from project sites and external training providers.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records of employee safety certificates.
• Monitor certificate expiration dates and coordinate renewals in advance to ensure site compliance.
• Coordinate with Site Supervisors and Permit Receivers regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of PPE distribution, inventory, and replacement cycles.
• Support HSE documentation, reports, records, and compliance tracking.
• Conduct regular field visits and coordinate with project teams to follow up on HSE requirements.
• Maintain organized records using Excel, databases, and digital filing systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi National.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to conduct field visits when required.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and involves a combination of office-based administrative tasks and regular travel to project sites for coordination and follow-up on HSE matters.
