The Role: IRD Order Taker

Rixos Murjana is seeking a dedicated IRD Order Taker to join its team in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in a related field who are committed to delivering exceptional guest service within a luxury hospitality environment. The IRD Order Taker plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and satisfying in-room dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer in-room dining calls promptly and courteously.
• Accurately take and record guest food and beverage orders.
• Confirm room numbers, order details, and any special requests.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide informed recommendations.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and available options as required.
• Enter orders accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Communicate dietary requirements and allergies clearly to the kitchen team.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order delivery.
• Follow up on orders to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Promote additional food and beverage items where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate order records and guest preferences.
• Adhere to all hotel service, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Maintain a professional and friendly telephone manner at all times.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Familiarity with common dietary restrictions and food allergies.
