Binzagr CO-RO LTD. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lab Supervisor to join its team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The Role of Lab Supervisor

The Lab Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring adherence to stringent quality and food safety standards. This position involves managing laboratory processes, coordinating with various departments, and implementing corrective actions to uphold product integrity and compliance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the quality framework across all laboratory activities, contributing directly to the company's commitment to excellence.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Report quality issues to relevant departments and ensure follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Production for the release, rework, rejection, or disposal of products based on laboratory results and approved procedures.
• Initiate production stops when products or processes fail to meet approved quality standards.
• Investigate, document, and close non-conformities, deviations, audit findings, and customer complaints.
• Ensure the laboratory's full compliance with ISO, HACCP, GMP, and other applicable quality and food-safety requirements.
• Reject non-conforming raw materials, maintain necessary records, and coordinate supplier claims with the appropriate department.

Laboratory Operations and Management

• Manage the ordering, receipt, and verification of laboratory equipment, chemicals, consumables, and water tankers.
• Coordinate product sampling, reference sample registration, and dispatch of samples.
• Organize and participate in sensory and taste-testing activities.
• Ensure timely calibration of laboratory equipment and maintain internal and external calibration records.
• Oversee the completion of pest-control activities and the inspection and cleaning of main water-storage tanks as required.
• Participate in relevant production, quality, and daily operational meetings.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Lab Supervisor position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or quality assurance role, preferably within the food or beverage industry. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of quality control processes, laboratory management, and compliance standards such as ISO, HACCP, and GMP.
