Land Surveyor

About the Role

Ahad Construction is seeking a Land Surveyor to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing essential surveying support for road construction projects, working collaboratively with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and the project management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set out road alignments, centerlines, carriageways, shoulders, and intersections.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.
• Set and verify levels for embankment and backfill layers, subgrade, subbase, aggregate base course, and asphalt layers.
• Check longitudinal gradients, crossfalls, superelevation, side slopes, and layer thicknesses against approved drawings.
• Survey and set out kerbs, sidewalks, drainage channels, and culverts.
• Interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and coordinate systems.
• Prepare accurate as-built surveys, field records, sketches, and survey reports.
• Identify discrepancies, verify subcontractor survey work, and coordinate inspections with consultants.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in surveying for road construction projects.
