About the Laundry Supervisor Role

Rixos Hotels is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to oversee the operations of the laundry department at its Makkah properties, including locations in King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah. This full-time position requires a candidate with 2-5 years of relevant experience to ensure the highest standards of service and efficiency.

Role Overview

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the laundry department. This role ensures the consistent quality, productivity, and timely completion of all laundry services for guests, hotel staff uniforms, and hotel linens, adhering strictly to Rixos Hotels' established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the laundry department and manage the laundry team.
• Develop and assign work schedules for staff, and monitor their performance.
• Ensure all laundry items are processed in accordance with hotel quality standards.
• Inspect the quality of washed, dried, and pressed items to guarantee excellence.
• Provide training and coaching to laundry employees to enhance their skills.
• Monitor the inventory levels and usage of laundry chemicals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the Engineering Department.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the laundry area.
• Ensure strict compliance with all hotel policies and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in hotel laundry operations is required.
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.
