The Role of Mechanical Engineer

Eram Talent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team, supporting operations within the Oil & Energy industry. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with work locations potentially including Jeddah, Makkah, and Neom. The role involves assisting the Senior MEP Engineer in managing the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within the Primary Nursery Facility at NEOM. The focus is on ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, and vertical transportation, in line with project standards and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Working in collaboration with service providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and supervising daily mechanical maintenance activities.
• Supporting the planning of preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance.
• Monitoring the usage of spare parts.
• Ensuring compliance with established safety protocols and quality assurance measures.
• Contributing to asset condition assessments, project commissioning, and continuous service improvements to maintain operational excellence across the facility.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical design principles, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards.
• Good knowledge of SAP & MAXIMO systems for monitoring and tracking.
