About the Role
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Officer Loss Prevention to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role is essential for maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for guests and employees. The Officer Loss Prevention will contribute to the overall safety and security operations of the property, ensuring peace of mind for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
- Monitor security sources and conduct daily inspections for physical hazards.
- Respond to accidents and assist guests/employees during emergency situations.
- De-escalate disturbances and escort individuals off the property when necessary.
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews with relevant parties.
- Complete required shift reports and maintain the confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 0-1 year of experience is required for this position.
- Compliance with quality assurance standards and expectations is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) without assistance.
- Ability to assist with moving objects weighing over 75 lbs (35 kg).
- Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
