ALPLA Group is seeking a highly skilled Planning Supervisor to join its operations in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position critical to optimizing production efficiency and ensuring seamless operational flow within our manufacturing facility.

Role Overview

The Planning Supervisor will lead overall production planning and scheduling, focusing on maximizing equipment utilization and fostering clear communication across all relevant departments. This role involves proactive management of material orders, risk mitigation, and close coordination with procurement to maintain uninterrupted production schedules and optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive production planning and scheduling, encompassing sampling, trials, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Optimize equipment utilization and line scheduling to minimize changeover times and achieve established operational targets.
  • Ensure clear and proactive communication across all related departments, including Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and Quality.
  • Track raw material and services Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure on-time delivery in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Identify and mitigate risks of material shortages or supplier delays that could potentially disrupt production lines.
  • Monitor and reduce lead time gaps within the Purchase Requisition (PSR), Purchase Order (PO), and Receiving Inspection Report (RIR) cycle to maintain optimal stock levels and smooth material flow.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure critical items have reliable backup supply sources, preventing operational downtime.
  • Track and report department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze root causes for any plan deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and supervise the planning team to ensure daily schedules and operational objectives are consistently met.
  • Ensure all planning, inventory, and production records are accurately maintained and remain audit-compliant at all times.
  • Follow up on audit findings, execute required action plans, and close all open audit points in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate professionally with internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in production planning and scheduling roles.

This full-time position is based in Jiddah, Makkah, and involves working within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Planning Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising a dedicated planning team, fostering a collaborative atmosphere to achieve operational excellence and meet daily production targets.
