QA Officer

About the Role

Kerry is seeking a QA Officer to join our team in Makkah, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is responsible for implementing site and Kerry's recommended objectives and strategies, including both short-term and long-term plans. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on coordinating company policies related to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to enhance Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Food Safety objectives.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effectiveness of Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Food Safety objectives as per company procedures and international standards. The QA Officer will play a critical part in upholding Kerry's standards, ensuring they are never compromised. A key focus will be the implementation of the "1 Kerry" approach to Food Safety and Quality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and sharing best practices within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement site and Kerry recommended objectives and strategies, including short-term and long-term plans.
• Coordinate company policies on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maximize Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Food Safety objectives.
• Ensure the effectiveness of these objectives in accordance with company procedures.
• Adhere to international standards and ensure that the company's standards are consistently met.
• Implement the "1 Kerry" approach to Food Safety and Quality.
• Contribute to building a continuous improvement culture within the region.
• Share and implement best practices to ensure facilities and processes comply with established standards.
• Perform QA and Compliance activities and report food quality status to the Quality & Food Safety Management Team.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
• Familiarity with international standards related to food safety and quality.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah. The role operates within a framework that emphasizes adherence to global standards and continuous improvement in quality and food safety practices.
