About the Role

Hilton is seeking a Sous Chef to join its culinary team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading daily kitchen operations and contributing to the delivery of memorable guest experiences within the hotel environment.

Role Overview

As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the kitchen. This position requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to upholding high culinary standards, directly impacting guest satisfaction through quality food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead culinary team operations, providing hands-on leadership and coaching to kitchen staff, with a focus on either Outlets or Banquets.
• Oversee production and service, managing daily kitchen operations, including creating and monitoring production lists, completing line checks, and expediting service periods.
• Enhance menu offerings by developing and implementing seasonal menus, promotional features, and daily specials.
• Promote cross-department collaboration, fostering strong, positive relationships between Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide administrative support, assisting with inventory management, ordering, and scheduling.
• Uphold regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to ensure the wellbeing of guests and team members.
