Sr. Static Technician

About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Static Technician to join their team in the Makkah region, specifically in Rabigh or Makkah. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and piping systems within plant construction and maintenance activities. The role involves working under the direction of a Foreman or General Foreman, with potential leadership responsibilities on smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret instructions and documentation to plan work activities effectively.
• Move materials and equipment to designated work locations and set up the work site as required.
• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble pipes and piping system components according to specifications.
• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, pipe systems, and associated structural components to support plant construction and maintenance operations.
• Provide leadership, instruction, and guidance to junior craftsmen, and may reassign work delegated by the supervisor.
• Complete necessary records, maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and perform various clean-up and housekeeping duties.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including consistently wearing required personal safety equipment.
• Perform other duties and activities as directed by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical instructions and documentation.
• Proficiency in laying out, fabricating, and assembling piping system components.
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipe systems.
• Ability to provide guidance and instruction to other team members.

Reporting Structure

The Sr. Static Technician will report directly to and receive assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. This role may also involve taking on some Pipefitting Foreman responsibilities on smaller-scale projects.

This position requires active participation in plant construction and maintenance activities. A strong commitment to safety is paramount, and all personnel are expected to observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including the consistent use of required personal safety equipment.
