Storekeeper

About the Role

Petrolube Oil Company is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and focuses on managing the receipt, inventory, and transportation of finished products and purchased items, ensuring efficient warehouse operations and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and issue finished and imported products according to production data and shipping orders, entering all relevant transactions into the system and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Implement work procedures for the receipt, storage, handling, and shipping of products, ensuring all safety measures are observed.
• Maintain the layout and security of storerooms and the warehouse to prevent loss or damage to stocks, optimizing space utilization.
• Receive, store, and issue filters and gift items based on instructions and orders.
• Ensure deliveries to Petrolube Express stations are completed within seven days from the order date.
• Arrange the storage of finished and imported products to facilitate transportation, handling, shipping, and counting.
• Provide direction to forklift drivers, checkers, and laborers, ensuring a high level of performance.
• Prepare and ship customer orders according to shipping instructions and rules.
• Prepare reports for damaged products and coordinate repacking or reprocessing with the Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor, Production department, and laboratory.
• Respond to stock variations and ensure system quantities always match physical inventory.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports for finished products.
• Maintain all shipping documents, ensuring transactions are entered into the computer system and filed appropriately.
• Submit all Delivery Notes (DNs) with customer acknowledgment to the Sales department as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Monitor product shelf life and arrange for revalidation in coordination with the Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor and laboratory.
• Ensure the warehouse and surrounding areas are kept clean and safe.
• Maintain employees' monthly time sheets and overtime reports, including reasons.
• Perform any other duties assigned within the scope of work.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a warehouse environment, coordinating with various departments and overseeing assigned personnel.
