The Strategic Account Manager Role

Agoda is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to be based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, client-facing role involves serving as the primary point of contact for key accommodation partners across Saudi Arabia. The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for developing existing partner relationships, identifying new supply opportunities, and ensuring Agoda remains a preferred platform in the market. This position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accommodation partners across Saudi Arabia, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Conduct regular in-person and virtual meetings with partners to review performance, share insights, and agree on actions for mutual growth.
• Analyze partner and market data to identify trends, gaps in supply, and propose tailored solutions for each partner.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance their visibility and competitiveness on the Agoda platform, including pricing strategy, content quality, and promotional participation.
• Onboard new accommodation partners in the region, ensuring a smooth start and strong early performance.
• Train partners on Agoda's tools, products, and programs to maximize their independent use of the platform.
• Work with internal teams, including marketing, product, and pricing, to design and execute campaigns that deliver results for partners and Agoda.
• Monitor portfolio performance against KPIs and growth targets, identifying risks and adjusting plans as needed.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports for the Area Manager and senior stakeholders.
• Stay informed on the Saudi hospitality market, competitor activity, and travel trends to maintain Agoda's strategic relevance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in account management or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree.
• Background in the travel or hospitality industry.

Work Environment

The Strategic Account Manager will join the SAM team at Agoda, which specializes in account management for accommodation partners. This team operates in over 50 locations worldwide, focusing on building long-term relationships that benefit Agoda, its partners, and customers. The role involves regular partner visits and data-driven discussions to improve partner performance on the Agoda platform.
