A leading facility specialized in the production of healthy meals announces a job vacancy in the city of Jeddah:

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Overview of Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Management: Managing all warehouse operations (receiving - storage - issuance - inventory - distribution). Supervising the performance of warehouse clerks and monitoring their daily performance. Organizing work schedules and ensuring compliance with operational and productivity standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the availability of required materials without excess or shortage. Preparing and implementing effective inventory management policies to reduce waste and losses. Approving periodic inventory procedures, analyzing discrepancies, and proposing corrective solutions.
  • Planning and Coordination: Coordinating with purchasing, operations, and finance departments to accurately determine inventory needs. Contributing to the development of supply and procurement plans to cover the needs of branches and central kitchens. Ensuring timely delivery of materials according to quality requirements.
  • Control and Compliance: Ensuring that all employees comply with company policies and procedures, as well as quality and safety systems. Supervising the documentation and retention of records and documents related to material movement. Monitoring operating costs and analyzing monthly inventory variances.
  • Process Improvement: Developing internal storage and transportation methods to enhance operational efficiency. Following up on the application of electronic systems for warehouse management (WMS or ERP). Proposing developmental initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Leadership and Training: Training and guiding the warehouse team on new procedures and policies. Periodically evaluating performance and submitting reports to senior management. Creating a safe and organized work environment based on discipline and accountability.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field.
  • Practical Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership position. Experience in the food sector. Experience with electronic inventory management systems such as (ERP, Odoo, SAP, or WMS). Strong knowledge of inventory procedures, internal control measures, and monitoring performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Required Skills: High ability in planning, organizing, and managing teams. Data analysis skills and decision-making based on accurate indicators. Proficiency in dealing with electronic systems and programs like Excel and Power BI for analytical reporting. Exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication with various departments. Proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
