About CoorB and the Web Engineer Role

CoorB is seeking a Web Engineer to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to professionals with 1-3 years of experience in web application development. The role involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications that support business objectives.

Role Purpose and Collaboration

The Web Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps teams, throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires experience in frontend development using Angular or React, backend development using Java, or full-stack development to build and maintain enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and enterprise solutions.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular or React.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and solution design.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in web application development.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development principles.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of software testing and debugging techniques.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following technologies:

• Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Angular and TypeScript.
• React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
