The firm provides integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy services, offering comprehensive solutions to support clients across the full project lifecycle. HCO's portfolio spans residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare sectors.
The Role of Mechanical Inspector
HCO is seeking a qualified Mechanical Inspector to join its team. This full-time position is based in AlUla, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and involves ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical works on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and supervise mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
- Ensure mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
- Verify materials and equipment delivered to site meet project requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, mechanical codes, and safety standards.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate project records.
- Identify non-conformance issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and contractors on technical matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical inspection and construction supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale construction projects.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and testing & commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with Saudi codes and industry standards related to mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inspection reporting systems.
