About the Role

Expert Eye is seeking a Business Development Specialist for Environmental Services. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Jeddah, or Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will contribute to the company's growth in the environmental consulting sector within the Kingdom.

Role Overview

The primary focus of this position is to identify potential opportunities and projects, conduct market research, monitor new projects, and assess client needs for environmental services. This includes areas such as environmental permits, environmental impact assessment studies, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously research potential projects and opportunities in the Saudi market.
• Monitor government and private projects, real estate developers, consultants, contractors, and tender platforms.
• Identify projects that may require environmental impact assessment studies, environmental permits, environmental management studies or plans, or environmental compliance, auditing, or monitoring services.
• Seek opportunities in the early stages of projects and before official tenders are issued, whenever possible.
• Conduct market research and analyze target sectors, trends, and new opportunities.
• Identify potential clients, decision-makers, and relevant entities.
• Monitor competitors, their projects, services, and market movements.
• Prepare clear summaries and evaluations of identified opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Continuously update the opportunities and client database and CRM system.
• Support business development activities and client communication.
• Contribute to the preparation of qualification files, technical, and commercial proposals when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental, engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in business development, market research, environmental consulting, or a related field is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi market, key projects, and sectors.
• Knowledge of environmental permits, environmental impact assessment studies, and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, research, and verify information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is preferred.
