Job Description

  • Receiving and welcoming customers professionally.
  • Recording purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Collecting payments in cash, by bank cards, or electronic payment methods.
  • Issuing invoices and receipts to customers.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of received amounts and returning the change accurately.
  • Balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift and preparing daily reports.
  • Handling returns and exchanges according to the establishment's policies.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier area.
  • Responding to customer inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Reporting any malfunctions in POS devices or any financial discrepancies to management.
  • Adhering to safety and security procedures and company policies.
