About the Role

ByteDance is seeking an Account Executive for its Innovative Technical Sales team, focusing on GenAI & SaaS solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role offers an opportunity to join a rapidly growing technology company and contribute to the advancement of Generative AI technologies for businesses.

Role Overview and Expansion

The Account Executive will be instrumental in expanding BytePlus's market presence across the GCC and Levant regions. A primary focus will be on driving adoption of visual AI innovation suites. This involves establishing a sustainable sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities through consultative selling and building strong client relationships.

Sales Ownership and Customer Lifecycle Management

This role entails end-to-end ownership of the sales process, from demand generation to contract closure, ensuring consistent revenue growth. Responsibilities include executing Go-to-Market strategies and managing the full customer journey. Furthermore, the Account Executive will oversee smooth customer onboarding and drive solution adoption to maximize usage, satisfaction, and long-term referrals.

Performance and Forecasting

Accurate reporting and forecasting are key components of this role. The Account Executive will deliver detailed business activity reports and sales forecasts to ensure alignment with regional growth targets and internal product milestones. This requires a structured approach to tracking progress and anticipating future performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of B2B business development experience. Proven ability in strategic selling, developing early-stage markets, and managing complex client relationships is essential. Strong organizational and influencing skills are required to communicate effectively on business and technology topics with diverse stakeholders. An agile, entrepreneurial, and result-oriented mindset with a strong interest in the AI industry is expected. Business proficiency in Mandarin or Arabic is mandatory for collaboration with internal teams and local stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

A background in computer science or engineering, coupled with strong business acumen (MBA preferred), is advantageous. Experience in industries such as Telco, digital marketing, cloud computing, video cloud, or AI/ML, particularly in key account or solution sales, is beneficial. Existing relationships with regional customers and partners, along with a deep understanding of sectors like gaming, eCommerce, media, and entertainment, are highly regarded. Experience with AI content generation, agentic solutions, or a consulting background will also be considered.
