Accountant

About the Role

Vitatech Group Middle East is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports the finance function, reporting directly to the CFO, and is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Role Overview

The Accountant will manage accounting transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure adherence to applicable KSA accounting and ZATCA requirements. This position is central to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger, bank, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) accounts.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and support month-end closing procedures.
• Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with KSA VAT and ZATCA requirements, including VAT reconciliations and returns.
• Support ZATCA e-invoicing compliance and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Support payroll accounting and employee expense processing.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards (IFRS).
• Assist with ERP/accounting system improvements and finance process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrated understanding of KSA accounting principles and ZATCA regulations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger reconciliation.
