About the Accounting Manager Role

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and ensuring robust accounting practices.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Accounting Manager is responsible for safeguarding organizational assets and developing efficient business processes related to revenue recording, financial reporting, and monthly closing. This role ensures adherence to accounting and reporting policies, including reviewing and analyzing finances, ensuring compliance with regulations, and refining reporting documentation. Key responsibilities also involve overseeing specific contracts as they pertain to financial reporting, leading strategic planning for accounting policies, and maintaining robust internal controls over financial transactions.

Key Accounting Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the organization's accounting policies, chart of accounts, and related principles, reconciling subordinate ledgers with the general ledger.
• Review and approve all vouchers (BPV, CPV, JV, RV, etc.) prepared by accountants, verifying correct cost code and cost center allocation.
• Conduct thorough reviews of all types of vouchers prepared by Accountants.
• Review accrued expenses on a monthly basis.
• Oversee the depreciation process for fixed assets to ensure accurate allocation of depreciation expenses.
• Prepare the monthly trial balance and ensure its timely completion.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations for all current accounts and bank liabilities, following preparation by the Treasury Section.
• Review all vendor reconciliations prepared by the accounts payable sections.
• Verify that all transactions originating from modules are correctly linked to the appropriate General Ledger (GL) accounts.

Client Engagement and Operational Support

• Provide assistance to clients in utilizing services and manage or maintain accounts for strategic clients.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or a related professional qualification such as ACCA / ACMA.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in an accounting management role.
