About Greenberg Traurig and the Opportunity

Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a global law firm with locations across 15 countries, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team in the Riyadh Regional Headquarters office. This is a full-time, in-office position that offers an opportunity to work within an innovative and collaborative environment.

Role Summary

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for independently managing the local finance, accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and compliance functions for the Riyadh office. This role involves hands-on ownership of day-to-day local accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, vendor payments, month-end close support, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The position ensures alignment with GT’s global finance and accounting requirements and internal control standards, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the local office finance, accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit, and compliance functions.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close processes, financial reporting, and oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit Tax/VAT, WHT, ZATCA, GOSI, RHQ, and Ministry of Justice filings, reports, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes to financial, tax, and regulatory requirements and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting obligations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, consultants, and government authorities, including coordinating audits, regulatory inquiries, and related documentation.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting procedures, recordkeeping practices, and internal controls to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with * Finance and Accounting teams to support reporting requirements and ensure alignment with GT Global Finance standards.
  • Provide financial and compliance support to local leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Perform additional finance, accounting, audit, compliance, and special project responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Profile and Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant accounting or finance role. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, business-driven environment and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality results. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across teams and delivering exceptional client service. A dedicated work ethic, a can-do attitude, initiative, adaptability, and innovation are key attributes for this role. While not required, Saudi Nationals are preferred.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in the firm’s Riyadh Regional Headquarters office, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
