ACES Manager

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced ACES Manager to join the Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) operations team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on enhancing Ultra-fast grocery operations and supporting the growth of new business models across MENA. The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Context

The ACES Manager will lead improvements in Ultra-Fast Grocery (UFG) Last Mile (LM) Under the Roof (UTR) and On the Road (OTR) processes, driving standardization efforts. This role acts as a liaison with other departments, provides process expertise to UFG and Last Mile stations, and offers Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for UTR, routing, and OTR planning. The manager will also support UTR/LM Kaizen Events and coordinate cross-functional projects for successful implementation across UFG Amazon Now Stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project execution across multiple organizational functions.
• Resolve issues during discussions between various functions.
• Hold respective functions accountable for their deliverables.
• Partner with other countries to implement and share best practices.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards within the remit area and promote a safety culture on-site.
• Provide operational leadership by measuring performance, offering feedback, and supporting development.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity, working on strategic projects with building and network-wide impact.
• Conduct strategic planning for the next three, six, and twelve months, with a focus on peak-season planning.
• Write and articulate leadership updates, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Establish objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Provide teams with necessary tools for success while driving productivity and efficiency improvements through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving.

As a key link between local operations and country business teams, the ACES Manager will drive innovation, test new ideas, and ensure best practices are followed safely. The role will consistently focus on six key areas: Safety, People, Quality, Customer Experience, Productivity, Costs, and Environment.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated record of achieving results in an operational or program management role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment operations. The role involves working within a newly formed organization focused on designing and launching new business models.
