About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Commercial / Contract Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for managing contractual, commercial, and cost-related matters for projects, ensuring effective administration throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer construction contracts in accordance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and project deliverables.
  • Interpret contract clauses and provide contractual guidance to project teams.
  • Review contractual correspondence and prepare formal responses on commercial and contractual matters.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract records, registers, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor project costs and commercial performance against approved budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of cost forecasts, financial reports, and commercial assessments.
  • Manage variation orders, contract amendments, and change requests, including assessing entitlement, cost impact, and schedule implications.
  • Assess contractual entitlement for claims and support the preparation of contractual responses and recommendations.
  • Review contractor interim payment applications, verify quantities and progress, and prepare payment recommendations.
  • Review measured quantities associated with bridge and infrastructure works, supporting quantity reconciliation and cost verification.
  • Support procurement activities, including tender documentation, BOQs, commercial schedules, and contract conditions.
  • Identify and assess contractual and commercial risks, developing mitigation strategies and maintaining risk registers.
  • Maintain accurate records of contractual correspondence and approvals, supporting audits and commercial compliance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in contract administration or a related commercial role.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer construction contracts and manage commercial aspects of projects.
  • Experience with change management, claims management, and payment certification processes.
  • Strong understanding of contractual obligations and commercial risk mitigation.
