About the Role
Salt is seeking an experienced AFCS Consultant (Oracle Accounting Foundation Cloud Service) to join a leading organization in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on enterprise-scale financial transformation projects, delivering Oracle Financial Services solutions that support accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting within a complex enterprise environment.
Role Overview
The AFCS Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS/OFS AFS). This involves ensuring accurate financial data sourcing, processing, reconciliation, and reporting across the organization, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Oracle Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS/OFS AFS).
- Gather and analyse business requirements across Finance, Accounting, and Regulatory Reporting functions.
- Design and configure financial data models, ledgers, accounting rules, and financial hierarchies.
- Maintain existing code and troubleshoot system issues and production defects.
- Perform data mapping, ETL validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks between source systems and Oracle AFCS.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Oracle AFCS with ERP, General Ledger, Risk, and other upstream/downstream platforms.
- Support financial and regulatory reporting requirements, including IFRS, GAAP, and Basel frameworks.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring successful delivery and issue resolution.
- Produce functional documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Oracle Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS/OFS AFS).
- Strong understanding of Oracle OFS AFS architecture and financial services modules.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, including General Ledger, Sub-ledger Accounting, IFRS, and GAAP.
- Experience with financial data processing, reconciliation, data lineage, and data mapping.
- Understanding of ETL processes and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience producing high-quality functional documentation (BRDs/FSDs).
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within banking or financial services environments is highly desirable.
Compensation and Location
This full-time position is based in Riyadh and offers a competitive salary of up to 35,000 SAR per month. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
