AI & Data Management Director

SThree is seeking an AI & Data Management Director to join a leading Saudi technology and digital transformation organization. This organization specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Smart Infrastructure, Digital Integration, Robotics, and Advanced Technology Solutions. The company partners with government entities and major enterprises to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience.

Role Overview

The AI & Data Management Director will lead and support client engagements within the government, PIF, and public sectors. This role combines technical expertise in AI with consulting acumen and business development capabilities. The Director will drive strategic initiatives, identify opportunities, and deliver value-driven solutions to public sector entities, bridging technical possibilities with sector needs to ensure effective transformation and value realization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI and data advisory engagements with public sector clients, aligning solutions with mission objectives.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities for AI and data engagement within provincial and central government, PIF, and public sectors.
• Conduct AI/ML and data maturity assessments, feasibility studies, and roadmap development.
• Prepare tendering proposals for AI and Data Management.
• Evaluate and lead the selection of AI and data management platforms and solutions.
• Prepare AI solutions architecture and design to meet client needs.
• Design cloud hosting for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and procurement requirements.
• Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML and data solutions tailored for public sector contexts (*, compliance, privacy, scalability).
• Guide data science and engineering teams in creating actionable models and platforms.
• Design and lead implementations of pilots and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Promote innovations and product development.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow AIGC in the AI & Data Management sector.
• Effectively lead the AI & Data Management Business Unit P&L.
• Lead and structure the development of the AI & Data Management talent team.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in AI and data management.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence.
• Proven consulting acumen and business development capabilities.
• Experience working with government, PIF, and public sector clients.
