The AI Innovation & Venture Senior Associate Role

PwC Middle East is seeking an AI Innovation & Venture Senior Associate to join the AI Strategy & Technology team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports the integration of strategic foresight with digital innovation to accelerate transformation for PwC and its clients. The team focuses on shaping operating models, designing technology roadmaps, and delivering integrated solutions by exploring emerging technologies, advancing intelligent automation, and leveraging data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new AI and technology idea intake processes.
• Assist with Gate 1 assessment, including preparing qualification materials and documenting outcomes (Go, No-Go, Refine) with clear written feedback.
• Contribute to the development of business cases, including drafting specific sections.
• Maintain pipeline dashboards and trackers for idea intake, and support the creation and maintenance of related templates.
• Provide support for the AI Startup Incubator, including research and mapping of regional AI startups, assisting with screening, preparing startup profiles, coordinating related events, and tracking startup engagement progress.

Required Experience and Profile

• Typically 2–4+ years of relevant experience in areas such as consulting, strategy, innovation, technology, AI, startups, research, business analysis, or project coordination.
• Experience in consulting, innovation, technology, venture, or startup ecosystems is preferred.
• Exposure to AI, digital products, business case development, or financial analysis is preferred.
• Experience within the Middle East region is considered a plus.

Essential Skills and Capabilities

• Strong analytical skills.
• Good understanding of AI, digital transformation, technology products, or startup ecosystems.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and document preparation.
• Ability to manage trackers, follow up on actions, and maintain process discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability in research and analysis, business writing, and slide preparation.
• Aptitude for financial and commercial analysis support.
• Experience with startup ecosystem research and pipeline/tracker management.
