AI Outcome Engineer Forward Deployed Engineering Google Cloud

About the Role

Google is seeking an AI Outcome Engineer for its Forward Deployed Engineering team within Google Cloud. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on bridging the gap between pre-sales agreement shaping and post-sales execution for AI accounts. The successful candidate will ensure solutions are designed for adoption, rapid activation, and viable delivery.

Role Context

As an AI Outcome Customer Engineer, you will engage during the technical evaluation phase for AI accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to architect how technical assets integrate into the customer's IT ecosystem, considering factors such as connectors, identity, data residency, and legal constraints. This role is aligned with the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account teams and Practice Customer Engineers (CEs) during technical evaluation phases to assess project feasibility, shape proposals for long-term adoption, and validate FDE engagement requests.
• Engage with code-level context to diagnose and resolve complex customer implementation issues, identify core product bugs, and test workarounds to remove execution roadblocks.
• Act as the liaison to core Product and Engineering teams, troubleshooting systemic deployment blockers and translating real-world field feedback into actionable feature requests.
• Guide implementation strategy through technical authority and architectural foresight, while managing the technical reality of delivery alongside customer-facing teams.

Experience Required

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong background in AI solutions and customer engineering within a forward-deployed context.
