About the AI Technical Lead Role

Systems Arabia is seeking an experienced AI Technical Lead to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the development and delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions. The successful candidate will drive technical strategy, mentor AI engineers, and ensure the implementation of scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Drive the technical strategy for AI implementations.
• Mentor AI engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure the development of scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI and Generative AI solutions, from concept and prototyping through production deployment.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews, and manage technical risks effectively.
• Collaborate with business, application, data, security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to integrate AI solutions.

Required Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Python and enterprise application development.
• Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Embeddings, and Vector Databases.
• Hands-on experience developing AI Agents, workflow orchestration, memory management, and tool integration.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Microsoft AI Stack, Mastra AI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks, including groundedness, hallucination detection, retrieval quality, and task completion.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise APIs and business applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containers, observability, monitoring, security, and production support.
• Strong understanding of AI Governance, Responsible AI, LLMOps, and MLOps.

Professional Experience and Leadership Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of overall experience in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technology domains.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in AI and Machine Learning solution development.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Demonstrated excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Desired Attributes

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions for Government, Public Sector, Banking, Tourism, or large enterprise organizations.
• Highly Preferred: Arabic language proficiency.
• Advantage: Experience evaluating AI-generated content in both Arabic and English.
• Advantage: Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure AI, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Technologies, or related domains.
