Role Summary

HSBC is seeking an Analyst, Capital Markets & Advisory to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role supports the Investment Banking Advisory, Debt Advisory, and Project Export Finance teams in their daily execution and business activities, aiming to deliver high-quality service management and solutions to clients by leveraging HSBC's knowledge and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and assist in conducting preliminary financial and commercial due diligence, ensuring the accuracy of financial models, and identifying investment risks.
• Create and analyze financial models and develop company valuations.
• Support Associates, Associate Directors, and Directors in performing analyses and preparing reports for clients and senior management.
• Prepare marketing materials for client pitches, roadshows, and marketing activities to contribute to business growth.
• Conduct market monitoring activities, report on market information and Capital Market performance periodically, and escalate project risks or issues to the Director or Head of Unit.
• Perform research to assess the existing market environment, monitor changes in external policy guidelines, and evaluate their implications on project decisions.
• Produce regular reports for management and working groups.
• Prepare and maintain KYC, conflict checks, closing files, and the department database, ensuring proper documentation and filing of all client and stakeholder documents.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Support Directors on overall project planning by reporting on project schedules.
• Escalate potential delays or identified risks to Directors on a regular basis.
• Assist Directors in the preparation of project reports.

This position is based in the Al Dar Al Baida District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
