AppDynamics Engineer

About the Role

FNRCO is seeking an experienced AppDynamics Engineer to join a client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves implementing, configuring, and managing AppDynamics Application Performance Management (APM) solutions. The successful candidate will ensure comprehensive application monitoring, performance visibility, and proactive issue resolution across various applications.

Role Overview

The AppDynamics Engineer will be responsible for maintaining optimal application performance through effective use of AppDynamics. This includes hands-on experience with application onboarding, business transaction monitoring, health rules, dashboards, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. The role primarily focuses on Java and .NET applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage AppDynamics APM for enterprise applications.
• Onboard and monitor new applications, specifically Java and .NET applications, using AppDynamics.
• Configure and optimize Business Transaction (BT) detection and monitoring.
• Set up and maintain Health Rules, Policies, and Actions based on application performance requirements.
• Monitor application performance and identify potential performance issues proactively.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for application and performance-related incidents.
• Develop and maintain custom AppDynamics dashboards to provide meaningful application and business performance insights.
• Ensure proper instrumentation of application services to achieve complete monitoring and end-to-end visibility.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, development, and operations teams to resolve performance issues.
• Analyze application metrics, response times, errors, dependencies, and transaction flows.
• Continuously improve monitoring coverage, alerting, and application observability.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AppDynamics APM solutions.
• Proficiency in application onboarding, business transaction monitoring, and configuring health rules.
• Experience with dashboard development and application instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring and optimizing Java and .NET applications.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working with a client team. The role requires collaboration with various technical teams to ensure seamless application performance.
