About the Role

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an experienced Architect Inspector to join its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and will focus on a significant residential development project. The Architect Inspector will be responsible for overseeing architectural construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and relevant building codes throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of architectural works, including blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, windows, joinery, and final architectural finishes.
• Review contractor Inspection Requests (IRs) and perform site inspections in alignment with approved inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Verify that all installed materials conform to approved material submittals and project specifications.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with approved construction methodologies.
• Identify non-conforming works and issue inspection observations and corrective action requests.
• Confirm completion of corrective actions before approving completed works.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with Resident Engineers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in mock-up inspections and the approval process for architectural finishes.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and photographic documentation.
• Support project quality audits and final handover inspections.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, HSE, and project governance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural inspection is required. Previous experience on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is highly desirable. Experience working with PMC firms, engineering consultants, or international contractors is preferred. A strong understanding of architectural finishes and construction quality requirements is essential.

Technical and Professional Skills

• Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Familiarity with inspection procedures, ITPs, and QA/QC documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Professional Credentials

A valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is required where applicable. QA/QC certifications are considered an advantage.
