Architect

About the Role

Trivers is seeking an Architect to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the design, planning, and coordination of architectural concepts and development projects. The Architect will be responsible for preparing architectural drawings, assisting in design presentations, and ensuring compliance with local building regulations. This position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation of architectural designs and concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentation boards using industry-standard software.
• Assist in space planning, facade design, and material selection to meet project objectives.
• Produce construction documents, schematic layouts, and design packages for tender and execution.
• Review consultant submissions, ensuring shop drawings align with design intent and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and external consultants to integrate architectural elements with structural and MEP designs.
• Ensure architectural designs meet local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Prepare and submit drawings for authority approvals as required.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and other departments to resolve design-related queries.
• Conduct design research to incorporate current trends, technologies, and materials into project proposals.
• Participate in site visits to monitor implementation and maintain architectural quality.
• Address on-site design changes in coordination with construction and design teams.

Collaboration and Innovation

The Architect will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring design intent to life, contributing to the delivery of functional, aesthetic, and cost-effective design solutions. This includes working under the guidance of senior architects and coordinating design inputs across various disciplines. The role also involves benchmarking designs against global best practices and contributing to internal design discussions and critiques.

Technical Documentation and Compliance

A core aspect of this role is the preparation of comprehensive technical documentation, including construction documents and design packages. The Architect will be responsible for reviewing consultant submissions to ensure alignment with design intent and project requirements. Additionally, ensuring that all architectural designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards is essential, including preparing and submitting drawings for necessary authority approvals.

Project Oversight and Quality Assurance

This position involves active participation in site visits to monitor implementation and ensure that architectural quality is maintained throughout the construction process. The Architect will address any on-site design changes in coordination with construction and design teams and support post-construction design reviews to identify lessons learned for future design improvements.
