About the Role

The Hotelier Office - Hotels Consultancy is seeking an Architectural Engineer specializing in Hospitality Projects to join their team in Riyadh. This role involves reviewing architectural and engineering drawings for hotel projects to ensure compliance with Saudi Ministry of Tourism standards. The position operates on a contract, project-based engagement, with compensation provided per assigned project.

Role Overview

The Architectural Engineer will be responsible for conducting technical assessments of hotel project documentation. This includes identifying compliance and non-compliance items against established regulatory standards, without engaging in design modifications or redesigning existing drawings. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to provide clear, actionable technical feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Review hotel architectural and engineering drawings against Saudi Ministry of Tourism standards.
• Assess compliance and identify non-compliance items within the submitted documentation.
• Prepare clear technical reports outlining compliant and non-compliant requirements.
• Provide technical observations and recommendations related to compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the consultancy team regarding project requirements and findings.
• Provide technical assessments without modifying or redesigning the drawings.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to review architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with Saudi Ministry of Tourism standards for hotel projects is essential.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing compliance and identifying discrepancies.

Contract and Compensation

This is a Freelance / Project-Based contract. Engagement will be based on project availability, and compensation will be paid per assigned project. This structure offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse hospitality projects.
